Wild Weather comes to Landisville…..
- Presenting data
- Videoconference viewing another school's project
- Videoconference viewing Group 1's video
Over the last two months, Mrs. Spangler and Mr. Podgurski’s 5th grade students were involved in a Wild Weather videoconference project. During this project, classrooms from around the country observed their weather and collected this data for their region. On April 14th, students were fortunate to meet Mark Bogner, a Chief Wild Weather Meteorologist from Kansas via videoconference! A Wild Weather blog was used for students to provide background information about their school as well as post questions. The final videoconferences was held on May 5th and 6th where schools shared the students’ final projects. This project allowed students to work collaboratively and see those participating schools and also get the chance to reach outside their school walls! To see our students’ projects click here.
