Chinese II students videoconference with CES

Today, HHS Chinese II students videoconferenced with 6 special interest students from CES. The high school students shared their knowledge of the first Chinese Emperor, the Great Wall and the Terracotta warrior soldiers with the elementary students. CES students asked many great questions regarding the Chinese characters and cultures. This was a very interactive session!

    Mr. Fan and students,
Thank-you for taking the time to talk to us and teach us about the Chinese culture. We thought it was interesting to communicate through video. The Happy Birthday song was challenging, but entertaining. The exercises were confusing! The instrument that Mr. Fan played had an interesting sound. The yoyo was neat and how they did tricks, that was cool. We really enjoyed learning about the culture and thank-you for the fortune cookies, they were really good!
    Thanks,
Mrs. Little & CES grade 6 Special Interest students
