Chinese II students videoconference with MES

Chinese exercises!

On Tuesday, HHS Chinese II students videoconferenced with 4 special interest students from MES. The high school students enjoyed sharing their love of Chinese culture. Our Chinese teacher, Mr. Fan, played a musical instrument called “Erhu” while all the students sang Zhu Ni Sheng Ri Kuai Le (Happy Birthday). Everyone enjoyed the event!

    Dear Mr. Fan and students,
Thank-you for video conferencing with us. We learned a lot of new things and here are some of them. Singing Happy Birthday was difficult. It was fun to do the exercises. It sounds hard to speak Chinese but we might try it at Hempfield High School. We were glad we got the opportunity to do this video conference with you!
    Sincerely,
    MES students and Mrs. Little
