The winter athletic season gets underway Friday November 20th. Before athletes can begin practice, physical exams or re-evaluations must be completed.
- Students that underwent a Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (CIPPPE) at school on June 4th or 5th of 2009 (the end of last school year) must submit Sections 2 and 5 to the Athletic Trainer by October 26th. If the trainer decides a re-evaluation is necessary, a doctor will complete Section 6 on October 27th. There is no charge for a re-evaluation in this case.
- Students that had a CIPPPE by their family doctor (in other words: not at school) after June 1st of 2009 must submit Sections 2 and 5 to the Athletic Trainer by October 14th. If the trainer decides a re-evaluation is necessary, a doctor will complete Section 6 on October 27th. There is charge for a re-evaluation in this case.
