It turns out that Saturday’s rain forced some postponements and cancellations.
First, the rain forced the cancellation of the second round of the District 3 Golf championships, leaving senior Andrew Arnold’s 1 over par 73 to be the winning total. Congratulations to Andrew on your second scholastic championship this year, and good luck in the regional tournament which begins October 20th.
The rain forced the postponement of the LL League Field Hockey quarterfinals. The girls will now play Cocalico tonight (10/19) at 7 p.m. at Penn Manor.
The rain did not stop the Boys Soccer team from defeating McCaskey Friday and clinching a league playoff berth. The quarterfinals are Tuesday October 20th with the Knights facing Manheim Central at Penn Manor at 7 p.m.
The rain did not slow down the Girls Tennis team as the playoffs are held indoors. The girls face Wilson for the District 3 title and a PIAA tournament berth. The match is Tuesday, October 20th at 3:30 p.m. at the Hershey Racquet club.
